Orvis, looking pretty content with life after a game of fetch!

Classic Orvis

This picture was taken of Orvis during the summer of '07, courtesy of Cain!  We like to refer to this picture as "Classic Orvis" because when he's not running around wild, this is how he spends a lot of his days.

Running Free!

Michael and I love taking Orvis to the trails at Gull Crest behind the Cape Elizabeth High School. Orvis clearly loves it too...

Eyes in the sky

I have no idea what Orvis is looking at here... but I do love how clear his whiskers are!

Running Wild

When Michael and I were in school in Chapel Hill we would take Orvis to our dear friend (and my former boss), Barbara's farm, as often as we could. Orvis was most happy when he was running free, swimming in the ponds and chasing whatever form of wildlife he could find. Here he is with my family's golden retriever puppy, Mason.

Eyes

Could you not look into those eyes all day long? He's quite captivating!

Yikes!

How weird does Orvis look in this photo??

Pilot Mountain, NC

This is a picture taken during Christmas break when we decided to take Orvis hiking. If you look closely, you'll see the drool coming out of Orvis's mouth... it was our mid-hike snack time and Orvis, as always, was hungry!

This is a recent photo taken of Orvis when he is in one of his relaxed moods. It's fun to take pictures of him when he's being lazy!

First Love

I was looking around at some old pictures on the computer yesterday and came across this one of Orvis and his very first (girl)friend, Lola!  It is an understatement to say that it was a sad day when Lola, and her owner Jordan, moved four hours away to Hatteras, NC...

Eno River State Park

Another favorite (and a longtime desktop picture on the computer), this was taken on our first visit to Eno River State Park in Durham, NC.

Gull Crest Trails

This is one of our favorite spots to walk Orvis in Cape Elizabeth, and also one of the very first pictures we took of Orvis in Maine after moving here!
